OK So we got Tomodachi Life Living the Dream and I just have to regale you this tale
- Step 1: Put Luke, Quin, and Adriel in the game.
- Reminder: Luke & Quin are one of the main pairs in our upcoming webcomic I, Mythical. Adriel is in it too but he won’t be important for a while
- Technically Luke and Quin are exes in the canon of roomie, but blink and you’ll miss it.
- this is Adriel if you forgot who he is
- Set them up in a love triangle, which is kinda-not-really what will happen in I,M, I mostly did it because only gays can form true love triangles and it was the best trio to do it with
- The love triangle: Luke -> Adriel -> Quin -> Luke
- After 3-4 days of this, Quin’s Mii comes up to me like imma confess my love, where should I do it? I tell him to do it on the Ferris wheel and take him by surprise.
- So they go up on the Ferris wheel, where Quin shows off a giant portrait he constructed of Luke made out of flowers, because the game is ridiculous. He asks Luke to accept his feelings, and, suddenly someone shouts HOLD IT! and shows up to confess his feelings too!! It’s Adriel, right?
- NO! IT WAS HUGH! (also how did he get up there with them?)
- Now mind you I had only added Hugh to the game like yesterday because I was prioritizing IM characters and system members. So he didn’t even have his relationships as strongly set up, he only had 3 acquaintances: Mary, Gabe, and Luke, and they had like just met.
- So Luke gets overwhelmed and rejects them both but then later Quin asks him out again and it goes better. But I was like why wasn’t it Adriel? Well I go check their relationships and somehow they had gotten demoted to “not getting along” when I wasn’t watching.
- So looking back at their relationships lists and everyone’s romantic preferences it made sense, but holy shit, how did the game know, Luke’s 2 canon ships from alternate universes, pitted against each other right then and there without me even trying to set it up.
So the moral of the story is this game can read your mind, I’m telling you.

why am I more obsessed with the author’s note and its love-triangle drama, than with the actual comic? xDD
after all the effort to write it up im glad someone read it hehehe
“I guess I could try”
Mikayla dies.
SEE, this is why I don’t even try.
Its definitely causation and not just correlation
