Had some trouble making this bit look intentional and not just like I was too lazy to shade it. Trying to convey the disorienting pitch blackness of the scene, you know? I think???? It worked?????????

i doubt that he is ‘blinded’ by his own illusion….and i think its hilarious that the oh so professional demon hunters only notice now who/what they´re dealing with. from what i remember fron Q+A, principalities are rather high up there powerwise, and orev is particularly skilled due to training+experience….and wasn´t there something about turning invisible?
Actually, Principalities are Sphere 3, the lowest one :3c Orev is definitely a cut above the usual Principality crowd though. And he can indeed turn invisible but I guess this seemed more useful right now.
What makes you think he isn’t also blinded by his illusion? :3ccc
I like to think that they did check for markings/aura/etc, but Orev used his illusions to misrepresent his markings. He can’t be an illusionist because I checked for markings oh gosh darn it!

That would be funny but there’s actually no visual way to tell a spirit’s type
