i love hughs face! in the second-to-last panel, i can totally see him thinking ‘really?’ followed by puzzlement – after all luke isn´t ‘fraternizing’ with demons but the very human hugh…
…also, i think its totally rude how samur just shoved luke aside and took over, no warning whatsoever, not because of an emergency but simply to throw a hissy fit. its especially crass compared to the polite, considerate behaviour of orev concerning hugh (and mary). it almost feels like looking-glass world, polite demons and a#hole angels.
on another note, i LOVE your q+a, it certainly answered a lot of questions, and luke cuddling samur is adorable, makes me curious about his backstory and think that there´s got to be more to him then the side we´ve seen so far……also, about that sigil-thingy, while i know that the swastika is an age-old mystical symbol, it might still offend some people and/or get you in trouble with some trolls. i´m sure you meant nothing by it, but i felt i had to point it out ;-)
Oh, no, I’m perfectly aware of the implications behind using a swastika in that sigil. If demons are repelled by religious symbols of peace, wouldn’t angels be repelled by the opposite? (Plus the mystical-symbol version of the swastika faces the other direction and is a square, not a diamond)
Samur is definitely the worst, and Luke will definitely be getting more depth… Nothing compared to Hugh’s backstory, though. Hoh boy.
Hey Micah, quick question: What happens if a possessor (mask showing) puts on makeup?
Also can the right makeup keep the mask hidden in the first place?

True, Orev knows when to stay out of other’s business.
As for who responds, let’s just say I like to make sure Orev shows up at least once per chapter, and he hasn’t made an appearance yet.
