137: Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before
Please take a minute to vote for Roomie over on TopWebcomics, where soon I’ll be posting the storyboards I drew while writing Chapter 3.
Want more pages a week? Of course you do! Donate to my coffee fund to fund more weekly updates! And remember to please send in questions for Patreon’s monthly Q&A! Leave a comment that starts with “Patreon Q&A” or send in a question here. Thanks!
I collectively refer to these guys as the “Pathfinder Squad” (though D&D Squad might work too I don’t think I ever explicitly say what they’re playing) so if I ever use that term now you know.
When does this update?
Hi Lynn! This comic usually updates Monday Wednesday Friday, but right now it’s on a schedule cut because my final semester of college is really hard. So at the moment it’s only Monday Friday, with a post Wednesday of a page from my senior capstone (a separate comic but with some crossover in terms of characters). Regular MWF updates will probably return around April, but I’ll be posting in the blog section of this comic when I’m sure (the blog section is the area below the comment section when you’re on the homepage)
What the hell kinda boss fights are these guys having that would wake up an RA?
The best kind
Definitely the best.
You guys will get to know Lael either through this comic (she’s got a couple scenes in the next chapter) or if you read The Psions (I’ll host it for free online if the Kickstarter reaches one of the stretch goals). Then you’ll definitely understand the kind of DM she is.
The Kickstarter launches in April, right? I will try to remember to check it out. I won’t be able to give much to it, but I think I could give a little bit. Is the incentive for this Kickstarter campaign the ability to view The Psions comic for free? Or is there another incentive? For example, another webcomic I read has occasional Kickstarter campaigns that gives each of the supporters a cameo role in the comic. Just curious. I’ve never used Kickstarter, but I’ve heard of it. I’ve used Patreon and GoFundMe once each. If Kickstarter is set up in a similar way, it should be pretty easy for me to use. I hope someday I can collaborate with someone to turn my webcomic idea into an actual webcomic. I don’t think I have the confidence, patience, or determination to actually create a webcomic all by myself.
Yes, The Psions will be put online for free (with a soundtrack!) if the campaign raises significantly more money than it’s overall goal. Individual supporter incentives will be things like signed copies of the book or personalized drawings.
As for other incentives besides that, I haven’t decided yet. The comic will be finished by the time I do the Kickstarter, so I can’t put people in the comic. That’s currently a Patreon reward though for anyone interested.
As for chipping in, it’s okay if you can’t give very much. Spreading the word to other people will help too!
