Well, despite my little misstep releasing a page out of order and all that, I’m really happy about the state of things right now. My regular version of GIMP is working again, which means no more suddenly-can’t-undo glitches or weird-color-correction problems. And, inking on the computer doesn’t look terrible! At least, I don’t think so. That first panel is a bit iffy, but it looks okay after that, I think. I mean, ideally you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, but frankly since I’m the one who drew it and can see all the little problems, I really can’t say.
AND DEMON FIGHTS! THAT’S SO COOL!
Hopefully that fire looks okay. I kinda just used a bunch of fire-effects Photoshop brushes over and over and over. There’s also another little sfx I threw in there, see if you can spot it.
Sweet face change. I wonder if Mary can see the fire.
Regarding perspective: As a non-artist (like not even a little bit, the last panel is a bit odd. **Check wikipedia**, its breaking the 180 degree rule. The gang is on the left and new guy is on the right so him punching to ‘our’ right is odd.
Note: good on you for putting the guys we like on the left and the guys we kinda don’t like yet (maybe?) on the right. Since English speakers read left to right we inherently want good stuff on left and bad stuff on right. And we want action to flow left to right (like when new guy ran to ‘our’ right a few strips ago).
And what kind of Hell has paperwork? A hellish one.

Ugh I know i broke 180, I tried to fix it but it caused other problems down the line, so I decided to just break it here and resolve to do better in future scenes :/
thats supposed to be fire? sorry, but its not looking particulary flame-y….i thought it was some kind of energy beam, maybe with crackling lightning thrown in. as for extra sfx, i´m utterly pants at spotting stuff like that, the only thing i noticed was how right before the atack the demon-mask took over the features of the human host completely.
actually, i´m kinda worried was this atack will do to shaqrs human host because i have the hunch that he´s draining his host to power the beam/fire/whatever….orev could summon his wings for barely a couple of minutes before he ran out of energy, so unless shaqr is some kind of prodigy his extra-omph has to come from *somewhere*
Augghhh so the fire looks bad after all *hides under a blanket* Okay maybe I’ll take a look at it again and upload a new version in a day or two
