I've been studying writing and trying to be a better writer and part of that is asking myself "how can I make this situation worse" and today it was spilling coffee I guess

clarification question: do demons need to *cultivate* misery to survive, or do the just need to be *around* misery to survive?
bc if it’s the latter, then orev’s apparent plan of finding miserable people to help seems like it’s a feasible way to survive without making too many enemies

Samur acts more like a Demon than most Demons.

They could just work in any number of government departments. Demons cultivating human misery would be completely indistinguishable from the usual experience.

while i can see samurs point, i honestly think that orev and his buddies do have good intentions…..and to be fair, humans are very good at making themselves and those around them miserable without zero influence from demons. so really i donĀ“t think we have to fear a demonic famine anytime soon ;-)

“Hhmm I can see their point, but I can also see the other point” yess my job as a writer is done xD
