I saw a video the other day about a guy who watched Spiderman Into the Spiderverse in Spanish 50 times as part of his ongoing Spanish study and I decided to do the same in Japanese. I’m halfway through my 5th watch. I don’t think I’ve learned much yet, lol, but apparently the magic doesn’t happen until at least the 30th watch. On the bright side, it really is the best movie to watch 50 times, I’m not bored yet. Also some of the Japanese voice actors are just hysterical.
I don’t know if you are still trying to learn Japanese
I recommend using learnanylanguage.fandom.com/wiki/Subs2srs to watch stuff over and over again to learn Japanese. I haven’t used it- but It looks fun. animecards.site also has info on learning Japanese from anime (including sub2srs).
I made one card from Kotaru Lives Alone (netflix show)
I am totally still grinding away at Japanese yes, so thanks for the recommendations!
Neat. So that explains the last panel of #568.
While the mystery of how Zev did things is still up in the air (but fairly simple) but its funny compared to what Zev did. Now that is some Mary level simple trickster shenanagins.
Learning Spanish: let’s ask the tricky questions
Use the word DIME in a sentence?
How would you say “I am so embarrassed”?
How would you say “I am 30 years old”?
How would you say “My father gave the Pope a potato”
How would you say “I am an American”
If you can count 1 number per second, how long would it take you, in minutes, to count to 60,000?
What does Gringo mean?
Not exactly how you win the trust and confidence of your host and of your fellow demons, Tsir’ah! How about actually talking to people?
social skills are hard
She doesn’t seem to have had a particularly good environment in her previous existence where she could have developed those…!
Neither is locking someone up and putting wards on them. Tsir’ah has no more reason to trust Zev than Zev has to trust Tsir’ah.
(Mary’s another story though.)
