Unique Mechanic
You specialize in a single type or a single species of Pokémon. Write it down on your playbook. Your Main Character gains 1 xp any time you:
- Learn something new about that type of Pokémon
- Reach 10+ Bond with a Pokémon of that type.
Unique Attributes
Choose this if you specialize in one type:
- This type of Pokémon are my specialty: Get +1 on any Trainer rolls when using a Pokémon of the same type as your specialty. However, get -1 to any Trainer rolls when using a pokemon whose type’s attacks are super effect against your type specialty.
Choose this if you specialize in one species:
- This Pokémon is my specialty: Get +2 on any Trainer rolls when using the Pokémon you specialize in. Get -2 to all rolls when using any other Pokémon.

- Take +1 Trainer forward to use the next time you battle against a Pokémon of the type you specialize in.
